While most of us assume that Hip Hop originated in the Bronx with DJ Kool Herc, this documentary (narrated by Chuck D) tells the true story of the "Founding Fathers," chronicling the mobile DJ scene in Brooklyn and Queens in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
