Big L R.I.P.
Yesterday would have been Big L’s 40th Birthday….The Harlem rapper was shot and killed on February 15, 1999. In commemoration, Complex TV just released previously unseen footage of Big L freestyling before his death. The two clips were recorded by Big L’s friend, Jewlz who is directing a forthcoming documentary on his life called “Street Struck: The Big L Story.”
One of the clips features Big L freestyling in Brooklyn with Charlie Hustle and the late Big Pun in February of 1998. The second clip is verses from Big L’s “Size ‘Em Up” which appeared on his posthomous album, The Big Picture.
