Dr. Dre gave an interview to TMZ on Tuesday night where he announced his interest in buying the LA Clippers from Donald Sterling who has now been banned from the NBA for his racist rant.
Dre definitely has the bank to do so, having recently been named by Forbes as the second richest Hip Hop Mogul with $550 million dollars in assets thanks to his new Beats by Dre venture (second to P Diddy at $700 million). But he would have to compete with the likes of Diddy, Oprah and Rick Ross who have also expressed interest.
