Forbes Magazine recently released its list of the five wealthiest Hip Hop artists. Here’s their breakdown for 2014:
1) Diddy – $700 million
2) Dr Dre – $550 million (his new Beats by Dre investment launched him to surpass Jay Z in 2014)
3) Jay Z – $520 million
4) Birdman – $160 million (but estimated at over $300 million jointly with his brother “Slim” Williams)
5) 50 Cent – $100 million (mostly through his lucrative sale of Vitaminwater holdings)
