Andre Johnson, also known as Christ Bearer, is a member of Northstar, a West coast based rap group affiliated with the Wu-Tang Clan, who was discovered and signed by RZA in 1998. Police found Johnson critically injured laying on a sidewalk early this morning in North Hollywood. Police claim that Johnson cut off his own penis and then proceeded to jump off a second story balcony in an attempted suicide. He was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in critical condition.
While it seems unbelievable that Johnson would attempt suicide by cutting off his penis (who does that?!?!?) and then jumping off a second story window (why not find a suitably taller building?), TMZ reports that two of Johnson’s roommates confirm the story and claim to have witnessed both the penis cutting and the jump from the balcony. They both denied that Johnson was using any “hard drugs” that could have incited him to do such a thing.
